ADD/ADHD COACHING
Helping individuals harness their strengths, turning
obstacles into opportunities!
How would life change for you if you could better
manage your ADD/ADHD tendencies?
As someone with ADHD, your brain is wired to give
you huge advantages in the following areas: marketing,
the arts, and entrepreneurial pursuits as well as other
fast-paced environments. But with the keen ability
to multi-task, be creative, and absorb information
quickly comes the challenge of distract-ability. Perhaps,
you hyper-focus when you’re really into a subject
and at other times your mind is completely unfocused!
I have personal experience with ADHD. I still juggle
multiple projects and am a natural idea generator;
not everything gets done, but what’s important
to me does! Having effective systems helps me stay
organized and focused instead of getting lost in a
project and missing deadlines. And that’s what
I want for you, too.
Coaching helps you to:
… identify and enhance what works (and what
doesn’t) to realize your goals.
… realize
that your future does not have to mirror your past.
… design
new strategies and systems that fit your needs.
… cultivate
new habits to better manage yourself and your time.
… conquer
overwhelm, worry, negative self-talk and stress.
… appreciate
yourself for creating your own path for success.
… become your own coach to sustain the progress
you’ve made with your coach.
What if you perceived your ADD/ADHD to be
a blessing?
My ADHD tendencies have been a blessing, not a handicap.
As a child, I often felt different and these differences
were not valued. Most of my clients have encountered
similar experiences. Therefore, it's vital to understand
how you can use your ADHD traits to your advantage.
I made peace with being different when I understood
that my hyperactivity allows me to be a high-energy
person and quick-witted as well. I love variety, creating,
and being inquisitive. My creativity has many expressions.
Some people have commented that they feel exhausted
just hearing me talk about the multiple ways I delight
in my creativity. (Sometimes I even amaze myself!)
The point is to learn to feel good about who YOU are.
“Before I began coaching with Barbara, I
was good at being innovative but I didn’t execute,
especially when it related to doing tedious tasks.
Working together allowed me to better understand
myself and figure out creative strategies to help
me follow-through. I’ve gained a new surge
of confidence and am deeply grateful.” Robert
P., Small Business Owner, MA
“Barbara is both
practical and intuitive in her approach. After supporting
me in formulating exactly what I wanted, I ended up with
a new work environment where I can tap into my ADHD strengths.
I’m very excited and I really like the new
empowered ME!” Rebecca D., Director of
Operations, WA
